Goshen Outreach

The mission of Fine Arts in Rockbridge is to provide opportunities for all persons in the Rockbridge area to pursue their interests and develop their talents in the arts through quality education and performance opportunities.

To help ensure that FAIR does indeed provide opportunity for all, the board of directors created the initiative Goshen Outreach to serve the young people of the geographically isolated Goshen Pass area. It is unique in the manner in which it provides arts instruction to children. The summer program gives children the chance to take classes at Goshen Public Library, close to home, without coming to Lexington, the goal being to create a quality experience for young people of the community.

FAIR Board of Directors has convened a group to review the program and develop a proposal for the 2007 summer arts workshop. Donations from residents of Goshen and contributors from the Rockbridge area fund the program.
